Martha's Vineyard Information

 

Martha's Vineyard lies almost 7 miles off the Cape Cod coast of Falmouth. An island of approximately 20 miles long and 9 miles wide, there are 6 towns and 14,000 year round residents that make up its population, link. During the summer season, the population swells to almost 100,000.

The towns of Martha's Vineyard are: Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury (Vineyard Haven), West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Aquinnah (Gay Head). Each town has its own local government and maintains its own town offices.
